Event Guidelines for ALL MGA Play
·
All balls scored must be played out.
Hole out all putts. If you can’t
help the team you may pick up and move on using the USGA ESC system to mark
your score.
·
Place only
the gross score for each player on the card. Keep
the total net at the bottom of the card.
When cards are checked this makes it MUCH easier to verify the
scores. If a member picks up on a hole,
the score recorded for the hole is to be the most likely score the player would
have made if the ball had been holed out, not to exceed the Equitable Stroke
Control (ESC) stroke limit. The score
should be marked with an ‘X’ to signify the player picked up without finishing
the hole.
·
If a player's score for any hole is left blank, the
team will be unable to use any of that player's scores for the whole
round. All cards must be signed,
attested, and posted by the player whose name is on top of the score sheet.
·
All balls are to be played down unless you are playing
cart paths only. At that time we will
use the cart path rule of lift, clean, and place through the green.
